Send your API key in a header. Two forms are supported.

Deprecated: query string

?apikey=YOUR_API_KEY still works for backward compatibility and for the website visitor webhooks, whose third-party dashboards only accept a URL. It exposes the key in server logs, browser history and Referer headers: avoid it elsewhere.

Never share your API key publicly: it gives full access to your workspace data.
